The new furniture showroom by company KATE was opened in an interwar fire station.
Part of the building that is a landmark in the Čieburkalns neighborhood was left in it's original design (such as the overview tower) and part of it was fully reconstructed by giving a new commercial look for furniture showroom and administration premises.
To ensure open spaces in the showroom, Peikko DELTABEAM® Slim Floor Structure was chosen as the solution. This allowed a modern environment to be created even in an interwar building.
